DAISY DE VILLENEUVE

When Valerie first met Daisy she was served tea in chipped, posh old ladies' china cups, along with tea cakes that they scoffed on the rug of some big old rambling house. Daisy spoke so fast it was hard to understand, the rhythm of her speech comes in short bursts, like machine gun fire. Valerie was smitten with Daisy, and her drawings, and bought one off her right there and then that would later be published in her first book - "He Said, She Said" put out by those nice folks at Pocko.
