THE BLANKS ARRIVED

The blank decks got here yesterday. We couldn't wait to open the boxes and try our hand at a bit of pyrography (the art of woodburning, apparently) - if you look carefully (click on the pic) you'll see we managed to find a woodburning pen that matches Val's toenail polish. Bloody hard work that pyrography lark. Especially in 32 degree heat. Anyway, if you're doing a board, we'll have them out to you just a soon as we can.

LOGO DEVELOPMENT

Between smoking roll-ups, designing tattoos and t-shirts and pin-striping a mate's car, Dingus Hussey is casting eyes and fingers over the Cherryvale Skateboard Company logo. Thanks Dingus. Here's work in progress.

KAS1

KAS1 - The first product from the Cherryvale Skateboard Company.
An exhibition of skateboard decks created by us, our friends and people whose work we love. Shipping late 2006.

In the beginning...

April 12, 2006.
We’re in Cherryvale, Kansas.
A random question comes up:
If we had our own company what would it do?
We think about that a bit.
Make skateboards we agree.
Although we know nothing about skateboards.
Other than we really really like them.*

*Valerie was the only girl on her skate team and the only one who could do hand stands on her board. Not exactly Dogtown and Z-Boys but way cooler than Jason who owned a shit Variflex board and was too chicken to do vert.
